Just thinking

“ It’s no longer I that lives but Christ that lives in me“Gal 2:20

So , exactly what activity is it that if we engage in, then we become part of something greater than us ? What is greater than the life of Christ , the eternal life which is our life as the new creation.? Are we just body and soul or are we the spirit in whom lives the very life of God. These activities we do are because of who we are , who we are is not because of these activities

We may sound humble by mouthing – become part of something greater than you – but what activity is greater than whosoever is in Christ , seated with Him at the right hand of God. I don’t see it

    1. Outside of Christ, what is the great thing that God made that is greater than man He made
The greatest thing He ever did was sending Jesus and He did it for man
God must think that man is worth the death of his son
We may not think so because man is so flawed but God is thinking differently

      1. I’m not quite sure, but I think you are saying that God made man, so man is inherently valuable. I agree, and this is why we must protect life. I don’t think we really know WHY he decided to make man, but I trust that He had a good reason. I think one reason was he wants us to worship him and be his children. In other words, he cares about us because of his own goodness. He loved us because he is loving. His nature is perfect. Only through being born again can we participate in that perfect nature, but we cannot achieve it on our own. (I’m not arguing. Just thinking out loud.)

      2. Remember Man is the only creature God made in his image and likeness . Not even the angels were made so.Only 2 bear this image and likeness. Adam the head of mankind before we all fell with him
Jesus the second Adam whom believers rise with
As Jesus is so are we. Massive statement considering our failures but if God said it why should I disagree
