There is no place in the old or New Testament where God or Jesus asked believers not to take medicine .It’s your choice if you don’t want any medicine , especially vaccines but don’t use God or Christianity as the excuse . God has nothing to do with that choice .

To my dad, medicine was a friend of the gospel because it enabled people to have a better quality of life.

I think what people object to is NOT being given a choice. I have friends who are vaxxed and friends who aren’t, and none of them like the way the unvaxxed have been terrorized, bribed, threatened, insulted, hated, and coerced. It just makes us wonder what this government will do next. It’s eerily similar to prophetic scriptures. I do think we’re called to use whatever intelligence we’ve been given, and I still haven’t found anyone who can explain to me why, if vaxines prevent the disease, the vaxxed feel threatened by the unvaxxed. And if the shots DON’T work, why are those in power (who, by the way, are exempt from the mandates) insisting everyone (else) get them?
(Jesus said we should be like little children. I think that means it’s OK to ask questions. 😉)

I’m not going to pretend I speak for anyone but myself and I know people who think I’m stupid and unintelligent because I took the vaccine . It’s funny how in USA , from infancy to school age , kids have a vaccine regime and every parent know that without them , the kids can’t get into public schools, but all of a sudden conspiracy theories have been merged with Covid and it’s vaccine to the point where we all act like vaccines are something new.I do think we ought to apply our intelligence , that is why I cannot take seriously conspiracy theories and their purveyors and fake spiritual allusions to justify any decision they take
The idea that there are eerie similarity with so called prophetic scripture is a hard core manipulation of the scriptures . Let me give you one . The near deification of an ex president , with false prophecies about him fits with some kings and false prophets of the Old Testaments . Does it mean they are the same , no but if you want , you can manufacture any parallel you want using the scriptures.
Some take scriptures out of context to justify their beliefs and biases because that is the easiest way to confuse and control Christians . I hear them all the time and as a believer in Christ Jesus , I’m embarrassed by it . Embarrassed that Christians can so easily be conned by arguments and people twisting the Bible for some agenda .
I don’t think anyone is bullied or terrorized for not taking the vaccine , I just think that anyone’s right not to be vaccinated should not trump the rights of the vaccinated
However , regardless of the politics of the vaccine , it’s very unfortunate to me that many believers in Jesus have allowed political pastors , most of whose prophecies about the election was false , to control their thinking process . One thing is clear , there is not a single passage in the entire scriptures where God or Jesus or the Holy Spirit or the apostles of Jesus Christ forbid believers from taking medication or medicine . It is God that gave humanity the wisdom to manufacture medicine in the first place
