Can anyone really love God( spirit) more than their partner,family or neighbor that they see?

We say these things to show reverence to God but I doubt if God is swayed. The love with which we love God can only be exhibited on people we see

Been in seclusion at a Christian men ‘s retreat.

The testimony of many in that retreat was earth shaking. The love of God is without any qualifiers . It is raw and undiluted .For every qualifier that is put on it, people are disqualified .

Is it not amazing that the only person that accompanied Jesus into paradise was a thief?

Our destiny is bigger than our circumstance

Spiritual promotion is the increasing ability/ capacity to subjugate the circumstances , pressure and obstacles of living to the word of God through the effectual working power of faith.

It does not necessarily require a change of title or status .

Being there is now no condemnation FOR those who are in Christ Jesus . Rom 8:1

Should there be any condemnation FROM those who are in Christ Jesus?

Growth in numbers

There is a difference between church growth and ministry growth .

Growth in the church is when unbelievers become believers . Growth in the ministry is about increase in numbers . If you observe closely , many fast growing ministries are largely due to other believers joining the ministry.

The real growth is when sinners become believers

Colossians 1:12

…giving thanks to The father, who has qualified us to share in the INHERITANCE of the saints in the light.

What is this inheritance?Jesus Christ , his life ,privileges , authority and persecution .

Why have believers allowed the world to define the church and by implication believers as well ?There is nothing like mega churches or evangelicals or denominational churches. There are mega ministries and denominational ministries.

The ministry is not the church, the ministers are not head of the church. The church is the body of Christ, it is one

and only Jesus is the head

Ministries are services/ gifts that God put in the church for the benefit of the church.When a ministry or minister misses it, it is not the fault of the church.

We are the church , we are not the ministry. Ministry is what we do not who we are.

The voice of God is not about sound but about content .

The thoughts , will , desire ,intuition , perceptions , instruction and even feelings are instruments of His communication .

If the Spirit of Him that raised Jesus lives in you , Who is fear?
