Grace

Grace have been defined by so many as unmerited favor. Technically this is true. We did nothing to merit or deserve it.

But how many mothers or fathers define what they do for their children as unmerited favor? Technically these kids do nothing to deserve these goodness except they are their parents kids

I keep wondering , how does God define grace, not pastors ,but God?

I know how . It is a full and complete supply.God is not thinking unmerited favor , he is thinking my children deserve to be blessed, they deserve to be rich, they deserve to be healthy, they deserve to live a good and long life. They are my children , my love for them is their deservabilty, their merit. They deserve a full supply

And above all , God deserves his children to be full of grace

It is not a matter of merit, that is the qualification for servants. God is our father , we are family. Grace is the birth right ,the inheritance of every believer

Most cases , a baby is the fulfillment of the parents dream, the manifestation of their heart desire, the very expression of their love.

So I am , the fulfillment of God’s will, the manifestation of His heart desire , the very expression of His love.

He said ” let us make man/ woman in our own image and after our likeness”

And despite what Adam did, here I am and you

Wow!

This is a market in Tsuani, a village 35 km from Tsafe Zamfara state Northern Nigeria. People trooped to the market for Wholef joining long queue to buy anti bullet charm. Murdered again and again without any prospect of improved security , people now seek protection through magic

This is a post from Isa Sanusi of amnesty international Who covers events and situations in Northern Nigeria

Truth be told

Took time off to move houses and observe the Democratic elections in Nigeria .God have mercy , if the brigandage that passed for elections is what democracy in black Africa is, we are headed nowhere.

The international community that looked the other way will rather accept the sham than deal with a population of almost 200 million people in a potential major upheaval if the government in power is challenged with the truth. I don’t blame them. Sometimes you get the impression that a day of reckoning Is coming and it will not be pretty .It’s a shame what happened in Nigeria truth be told

Thinking aloud

There is a popular gospel song all on the air waves. I really like that song. My preacher even labeled his current message with the title of the song. It’s called Reckless Love. The problem is that there is nothing remotely RECKLESS about the love of God , NOTHING.

The word reckless means rash, careless, thoughtless ,hasty. What are my missing here?

I know God

Years ago in the middle of the greatest obstacle that faced me , discouraged and helpless , I fixed my eyes on the bible searching for strength, resolve, anything that would lift the heaviness away. I was reading the gospel of John and I came upon chapter 8 :55 and Jesus was speaking to the religious leaders of his day. he said ‘Though you do not know him, I know him ( God ) If I said I did not, I would be a liar like you…’ I leapt off the sofa and said God , how can I say that I know you . Not that am a Christian , not that I am born again but that I know you and I began to pray. It wasn’t more than ten seconds and this thought hit me like I could almost hear it with my ear and it said ; IF YOU KNOW THAT I LOVE YOU, THEN YOU KNOW ME
