There is no second place with God for believers . Every Christian is first place with him , even those we call liberal . No believers problem or challenge is more important to God than another . It’s Christ first and all us . No other heir-achy

For the first time my son was sleeping in church and I did not try to wake him up . The sermon was on the Ten Commandments and I needed strong coffee to keep awake. .

Talk about boring and ineffective but I still love the people

Negatives?

There are many intellectual friends and colleagues that have written essays and posts about the negative effects of the advent of Christianity in black Africa

My question to them have remained . Can anyone prove to me that black Africa would have been better without the western education , hospitals , human rights , women rights , ending and challenging cultures like killing of twins , psychiatric sickness as curses from the gods ?

How many would be able to read or write anything being that our indigenous languages were made into readable materials by missionaries and the education they brought with them ?

We are smack in the middle of the benefits of what Missionaries and Christianity brought , is it so hard to recognize that ? Christianity is not the problem and I can prove it

Shocker

No one saw the Pandemic coming but my greatest shock and confusion was the reaction of Preachers I held in very high esteem in Nigeria . One said once you take the vaccine , you become a vampire lusting for blood . I couldn’t believe I ever took him seriously . Many others were a Babel of nonsense

Even in USA , the greatest disappointment I encountered was by preachers I love so much . What they said , did during election, and the pandemic , the fake prophecies …had me questioning God . Not to doubt him but to understand why his church has made themselves a caricature . I have deleted 90% of the preachers I listen to . My greatest teacher now is the Bible and my trust in God I’m wary of trusting the word of any preacher going forward unless I thoroughly examine it in light of the gospel of grace . My people say if you are stung by a bee , if you see a fly you run .
